| History: |
Trauma Care is a state licensed emergency medical service and has been incorporated in the State of Georgia since January 1, 2004. It was founded in 2002 by Lewis McClain (EMT) and Joshua Wheelis (EMT) after " We realized the need for EMS accessibility at these types of events". The company started out at a small race facility with only two employees and a trauma bag. Since then, it has expanded to include all terrain transport, first responder vehicles, traditional ambulances, fire and rescue trucks. Trauma Care is a family owned and operated business which strives to have the best of employees. At Trauma Care we see ourselves as a vital part of the community that helps people when they are most in need. In fact, the owners of Trauma Care Emergency Services, Inc. may just be the one to treat your injuries or illness or teach your first aid / CPR course. In January 2007 Trauma Care EMS, Inc. and STAT Response of Washington joined together in a partnership. STAT response is a Washington state licensed EMS agency and was founded in 2002 by Shane Roeder EMT-I. STAT Response has since evolved into a professional event medical service and also Motorsport safety company led by Jason Weber EMT-B. |
